Project Description

The year 2008 could have been, as it was for most builders, a slow year. However, I was fortunate to have met Ted and Harriette Wasserman. They are an adventurous couple that is not afraid of a challenge. They not only took on a 120-acre farm and forest but then also built a custom dream house right in the middle! Alan Guazzoni Design complimented with Ted and Harriette’s passion for stone and other natural finishes, resulted in a sophisticated, yet warm and authentic design. From the Turkish limestone floors throughout the entry and kitchen, to the fieldstone fireplace and on site hand crafted hickory kitchen cabinets and stairway, this house is breathtaking. Their huge double hung windows overlooking the southward view of their farm is their daily celebration of Vermont. Thanks Ted and Harriett.
