Project Description
Building the “Sculpture House”, as it been lovingly named, was an incredible and unique building experience. With 10′ ceilings in the lower level and 22′ high radius ceilings above, the Graysons decided to submerge most of the structure below grade with a walk out basement. Outside, wide vertical natural finished cedar it topped with an earth brown shingle roof. Approaching the house and the garage, the roof line of the structure is low enough so you can stand on the ground, reach up and touch the roof trim. Once you enter the house suddenly you are impacted with the sculpture and design of incredible depth. Ed and Alice are the greatest and John Rubino is a genius!
